Monica's design career spans decades with countless
projects in the Houston area including Bellaire, Southside, West
University, Tanglewood, and many other well known neighborhoods. Monica began her career in wallcovering and fabric showrooms while working to receive her design degree. During this time she established relationships with fixtures of the Houston design community and eventually worked for a few of those designers. Monica established M. Weber Designs in 2002 where she was able to balance being a mother of 4 boys while managing a successful business for 20 years.
Monica had the pleasure of working on the renovation and
interior design of a Good Brick Award recipient in 2011. She has a vast portfolio and range of design expertise from vacation homes in Cape Cod to custom build residences in Idaho. After Hurricane Harvey flooded her own residence in 2017, she worked tirelessly to assist clients in rebuilding and redesigning their flood-affected areas, making their houses into homes again.
Because of her long standing client relationships, Monica has
had the pleasure of designing for generations of the same families. One of her greatest joys at work is seeing those families grow and assisting their children with designs for college dorms and eventually their first homes. Monica has a wealth of knowledge in design and business expertise and is always honored to help make home a sacred and
joyful place for her clients.
Dylan is a multi-talented designer with years of experience in
both architecture and interior design. Prior to his professional career, he attended Texas A&M University where he earned a design degree from the College of Architecture with a minor in Urban & Regional Planning. For years, Dylan was a designer at an architecture firm in Houston where his experience included restaurants, hospitality, commercial, entertainment, and residential projects. While there, he had the pleasure of designing over 50 retail stores across several states, The Grotto Downtown, The Hyatt Regency St. Louis, and the historic Marriott Philadelphia.
In 2018 he narrowed his professional scope to work
strictly in interior design and quickly found himself at the helm of an
established design firm in Houston. This allowed for Dylan to design
and project manage numerous home remodels, create custom furniture, complete new ground up residences, and cross paths with Monica and become the team they are today. Aside from furnishings and design, his knowledge of construction documents and ability to draw detailed elevations and furniture plans are vital in creating and executing a cohesive design concept.
Dylan finds the face-to-face client interaction the most
enjoyable aspect of working in this industry. Some of his most
cherished memories are being at home with family and he feels so rewarded being able to create timeless spaces at home
for clients to build similar memories in.
